My obsession with photography started young, somewhere around age 8, playing with my mom's early 2000s digital camera.
I was mesmerized by that little macro feature, the way it could isolate a subject and blur everything else into oblivion. I didn't know what bokeh was back then, but I was hooked.
Fast forward to my first DSLR and that classic nifty fifty (50mm f/1.8) suddenly I was creating that creamy background blur I'd been chasing since childhood. For teenage years, digital was my world. Clean, controllable, instant.
Then film happened. My friend Jake lent me one of his cameras recently, and everything shifted. There's something about shooting film the anticipation, the grain, the way light hits differently, that's reignited my creative fire. I'm deep in experimentation mode now, blending what I've learned in the digital realm with the unpredictable magic of analog.
